About The Position

The position involves traveling to Central PA locations to repair video gaming terminal malfunctions and requires timely responses to calls for issues. You will be expected to demonstrate superior customer service and adhere to company standards and policies.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Associate degree (A.A) from technical school; one to two years’ previous experience in a customer service and/or technical/troubleshooting environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in gaming industry, wiring, and networking is highly preferred but not required.
  • Must have technical proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to travel extensively as necessary for business needs.
  • Ability to collaborate and work within a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to accurately prioritize, organize, and complete multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, on call, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to read and communicate verbally in English.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Wiring, network, and troubleshooting experience is a plus.
  • Must possess a pleasant outgoing personality and portray a professional temperament for dealing with varied internal and external guest situations.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to locations to repair video gaming terminal malfunctions.
  • Answer and respond timely to all calls for video gaming terminal issues.
  • Support and promote superior customer service in accordance with departmental and company standards.
  • Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.
  • Project a positive image of the company at all times.
  • Process manual payouts due to equipment malfunctions or other circumstances.
  • Complete required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Inform Route Operations Manager of video gaming terminal issues.
  • Assist customers with questions and complaints regarding video gaming terminals.
  • Perform the duties of the Service Technician as required.
  • Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
  • Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
