Paramount VFX Internship (Summer 2026, In Person - LA)
About The Position
The Visual Effects (VFX) department is responsible for all visual effects for Paramount features and television projects. From script breakdowns to budgeting, VFX is responsible for the VFX shots from early development to Final Delivery. The VFX department tracks all monies including the budget target as well as if a project goes over budget. If a project looks to be trending over budget it is the VFX executive to inform the head of physical production and creative executive so we can come up with a plan to get back to budget. The VFX intern will help executives with VFX schedule from turnovers to WIP deliveries; from scheduling VFX reviews with the teams to helping organize wrap data, and deliverables. The VFX intern will attend VFX reviews and take notes for executives. VFX Intern to help organize elements library for future use.
Requirements
- VFX Intern should be a film major, with an emphasis on visual effects and post production.
- Internships are available to students who will be Seniors or Master’s students in the fall of 2026. If you are a graduating Senior, please check our website for full-time job opportunities.
- You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks total starting in June.
- Interns will be required to work fully on-site for the duration of the program. Note: Paramount does not provide financial relocation support or housing stipends.
- Internships are paid at a competitive standard hourly rate (school credit is optional).
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
- Employment eligibility to work with Paramount in the United States is required as the company does not engage in sponsorship for internships.
