About The Position

We are seeking for a motivated Drive Technician. The Drive Tech will provide support to projects including well sites, SWD's and infrastructure and maintenance projects.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Oil & Gas Automation Services
  • Knowledge of PLC's and RTU's.
  • Able to understand digital and analog I/O, programming, and troubleshooting
  • Safety-minded and follow safety regulations
  • Ability to effectively and regularly converse and comprehend in English
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment, random and for-cause drug testing

Responsibilities

  • Assists with monitoring instrumentation, electrical facilities, and related control systems with primary focus on Automation Drives.
  • Assist with forecasting electrical, automation and instrumentation need for expansion projects
  • Calibrates, troubleshoots, and maintains electronic and automation systems
  • Installs and overhaul of electrical system components and technical equipment
  • Routes and sets up electric power generation, distribution, and control systems
  • Maintains a preventive maintenance system with complete records
  • Monitors, maintains, and understands operating, fire protection systems
  • Assists with maintenance and operation of sites
  • Use a variety of automation software including, Allen Bradley, RS Logic 5000
  • Performs maintenance duties required to maintain operations and regulatory compliance
  • Provides electrical and automation services and expertise to field operations and corporate oil & gas
  • Ensures compliance to regulations and internal and external safety standards
