About The Position

Little Silver Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team of skilled professionals. The ideal candidate will be passionate about animal welfare and possess the required skills or the desire to learn.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Veterinary Technician or similar role is preferred
• Proficiency in handling various veterinary tasks such as administering medications, assisting in exam rooms, and venipuncture preferred
• Certification as a Veterinary Technician is a plus
• Experience with Ezyvet software is a plus
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually
• Desire to learn
• Strong attention to detail
• Love of both people and animals

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in diagnosing and treating patients
• Work as part of a team to ensure the health and well-being of patients
• Ensure the comfort of all patients under care

• Demonstrate understanding of animal anatomy, physiology, and proper handling techniques
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the hospital
• Provide friendly and professional client education
• Utilize computers to communicate with team, process diagnostics, review and update medical records
