About The Position

Join the VCA Animal Healing Center Team! We are an established Holistic/Conventional veterinary hospital located in a historical house in scenic Yardley, PA. Our practice focuses on a holistic approach to medicine, offering acupuncture, laser therapy, homeopathy, and Chinese herbs, alongside a wide range of conventional services including routine health care, dental care, and surgical procedures. We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, multi-doctor environment. Our team is committed to providing exceptional patient care and client service, and we encourage our technicians to utilize their skills and contribute to case management and patient care.

Requirements

• Must have documented previous experience as a Veterinary Technician
• Must have a current CVT in PA
• Flexibility in hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong customer service skills
• Working knowledge of computers
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and patient assessments
• Monitor anesthesia during procedures
• Assist in surgical preparation and procedures
• Conduct dental procedures
• Perform radiology and laboratory work
• Carry out venipuncture and catheter placement
• Manage pharmacy tasks
• Oversee patient recovery
• Provide compassionate care to hospitalized animals
