About The Position
The Pet's Vet North End in Boston is seeking to hire two positions: an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician and a Veterinary Technician/Assistant. The Certified Veterinary Technician role requires a focus on anesthesia, general surgery, and dentistry, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience. The Veterinary Technician/Assistant position is aimed at candidates with 2-3 years of experience in general practice. Both roles demand a positive attitude, a teamwork mentality, and a desire to grow within the practice. Located in the vibrant and historic North End of Boston, The Pet's Vet North End opened in October 2020 and features a state-of-the-art facility designed for efficiency and aesthetics. The practice includes a welcoming reception area with a beverage station offering cold brew coffee, kombucha on tap, and sparkling water. The four exam rooms are designed for comfort, featuring calming classical music and species-specific pheromone diffusers to help clients and patients relax. The facility boasts a learning lab equipped with a microscope that can project images to large monitors and iPads, allowing for easy sharing with clients. The treatment area is outfitted with a full in-house suite of Idexx lab stations, a comfortable cage bank, and three treatment bays. The radiology suite includes digital x-rays and ultrasound capabilities, with telemedicine options available. The dental alcove is equipped with a canis major dental table, digital dental x-rays, and a top-of-the-line anesthesia machine. The surgery suite features advanced equipment including Midmark dual surgery lights, cautery, suction, and multiparameter monitoring systems.
