Requirements

Prior veterinary technician experience (required)
Confidence in technical skills (venipuncture, catheters, anesthesia monitoring, etc.)
A positive, team-first attitude with strong communication skills
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
A compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
Dependability, professionalism, and pride in doing things the right way
Critical thinking, curiosity, and a can-do attitude
A love for teamwork, teaching, and being taught

Responsibilities

Assisting veterinarians during exams, treatments, procedures, and surgeries
Administering medications and providing nursing care, and treatments
Performing venipuncture/blood draws, IV catheter placement, and lab sample prep
Conducting dental cleanings and supporting dental procedures
Monitoring anesthesia and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures
Taking radiographs and running in-house lab tests
Providing attentive post-op patient care and recovery support
Maintaining clean, organized treatment areas and supporting hospital flow
Helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations and high care standards across the team
