About The Position

VCA Highlands Animal Hospital is adding a Veterinary Technician to our one-of-a-kind practice. As a Veterinary Technician at VCA Highlands, you will play a vital role in patient care by supporting our doctors, utilizing your technical skills, and advocating for the well-being of our patients and their families. Responsibilities

Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and post-op recovery
Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs
Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the DVM
Collect samples and perform in-house laboratory diagnostics
Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments
Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care
Maintain accurate patient medical records
