Location: 15560 TX-29, Buchanan Dam, TX 78609 Schedule: Monday through Friday Who We Are: Lake Area Animal Clinic has provided trusted veterinary care across the Highland Lakes region since 1972. Located in Buchanan Dam, we're more than just a clinic - we're a full-service medical and surgical hospital offering wellness exams, vaccinations, dentistry, diagnostics, surgery, and an online pharmacy. Requirements

  • 2+ years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary technician or assistant strongly preferred but not required. We are willing to train!
  • Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
  • Passion for working with small animals, birds, exotics, and their owners
  • Experience with proper animal handling and restraint for a variety of species
  • Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
  • Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform nursing care in a hospital or outdoor setting
