About The Position
VCA Valley Animal Hospital & Emergency Center is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency Department. Currently hiring for mid or night shifts. Full time only. The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine & patient care-with the passion, expertise, & technical know-how to make them happen. You've worked hard for your training & credentialing; we want you to use the knowledge & skills that you've invested your time & talent in. Requirements
- Excellent Client & Patient Handling while working in a fast paced environment
- Advanced tube placement including NG tubes, central lines, & PICC lines
- Confidence in applying BLS/ALS CPR techniques
- Anesthesia induction, maintenance, monitoring, & recovery of critical patients
- Hands Free Radiology Technique for critical patients
