About The Position

We are looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician with experience to join our team here at Thomasville Animal Hospital to be a part of our Small Animal treatment area. We have a great group of employees that work well together and we are looking to add to the family. Our doctors wish to have highly trained and skilled technicians to utilize fully to better their medicine and service. On-the-job training is available as well as online courses to further your education and abilities with room to be promoted. Requirements

• License
• exceptional animal handling skills
• experience in a veterinary office
• excellent character
• exceptional work ethic
• ability to lift a moderate amount (40-50#)
• Saturday morning availability on rotation

Responsibilities

• assisting our small animal veterinarians in the treatment of patients
• dental cleanings and exams under anesthesia
• monitoring anesthesia
• surgical instrument care
• assisting veterinarian in surgery
• client education
• in-patient care of patients in ICU
