Requirements

Previous veterinary experience is required
Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
A love for animals and a team-focused attitude

Nice To Haves

LVT certification or A.S. in Veterinary Technology is a plus (but not required)

Responsibilities

Handling and restraining dogs and cats for exams and procedures
Assisting veterinarians with blood draws, surgical procedures, and radiographs
Walking dogs and cleaning kennels
Maintaining a clean and organized hospital environment
Educating clients on pet care and answering questions
Taking phone calls and supporting front desk needs as necessary
