Requirements

  • Previous veterinary experience is required
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
  • A love for animals and a team-focused attitude

Nice To Haves

  • LVT certification or A.S. in Veterinary Technology is a plus (but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Handling and restraining dogs and cats for exams and procedures
  • Assisting veterinarians with blood draws, surgical procedures, and radiographs
  • Walking dogs and cleaning kennels
  • Maintaining a clean and organized hospital environment
  • Educating clients on pet care and answering questions
  • Taking phone calls and supporting front desk needs as necessary
