Andrews Veterinary Clinic in Andrews, Texas is looking to hire a Veterinary Technician to join our team! Our high-volume, fast-paced practice sees a variety of species, providing preventative and urgent care services. Who You Are: 1+ years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary technician or assistant Comfortable working at a high- volume practice and able to multitask Willingness to work weekends and a rotating on-call schedule Knowledge of industry tools and equipment Experience with proper animal handling and restraint for a variety of species Ability to perform nursing care in a hospital or outdoor setting Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills Skilled in phlebotomy and IV catheter placement Anesthesia monitoring and surgical experience including intubation, monitoring, pre-operative and post-operative care preferred Dental Experience, scaling, polishing, charting, radiographs preferred Laboratory skills including cytology set-up and interpretation What Makes Us Different Referral program – join our team, bring your friends, and get paid! Requirements

  • 1+ years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary technician or assistant
