About The Position

VCA Valley Animal Hospital & Emergency Center is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency Department. Currently hiring for mid or night shifts. Full time only. The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine & patient care—with the passion, expertise, & technical know-how to make them happen. In addition to standard CVT skills, the Emergency Department values: Excellent Client & Patient Handling while working in a fast paced environment Advanced tube placement including NG tubes, central lines, & PICC lines Confidence in applying BLS/ALS CPR techniques Anesthesia induction, maintenance, monitoring, & recovery of critical patients Hands Free Radiology Technique for critical patients You’ve worked hard for your training & credentialing; we want you to use the knowledge & skills that you’ve invested your time & talent in. Compensation varies based on education, experience, & current AZ CVT license: $16 - 24/hour (includes scale for licensed & unlicensed Veterinary Technicians).
