Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician is preferred. Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) is a plus but not required.
  • Strong technical, diagnostic, and communication skills.
  • A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with large animal is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train!

Responsibilities

  • Assisting veterinarians during patient exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
  • Administering medications, vaccinations, and therapeutic treatments.
  • Performing diagnostic tests, including radiographs and in-house lab work.
  • Monitoring anesthesia and providing post-operative care.
  • Conducting dental cleanings and assisting with dental procedures.
  • Educating clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and post-care instructions.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a clean, organized clinic environment.
