VCA Avondale Veterinary Hospital is adding a Veterinary Technician to our Patient Care Team! About Us: VCA Avondale has something for every career path! Schedule: Full- time opportunity with rotating Saturdays. Compensation: $ 16 - 22/hr and Starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to: Collecting patient histories and performing physical exams. IVC placement and venipuncture Surgery Prep, monitoring anesthesia and postoperative care of the patient (recovery) Dentals and dental radiographs Maintain patient records Client education and communication Perform and assist with diagnostic imaging, laboratory tests, and other diagnostic procedures. Administer medications, vaccinations, and other prescribed treatments. Collaborate with veterinarians, fellow veterinary technicians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care. Responsibilities
