About The Position

VCA Associates in Pet Care Animal Hospital is adding a Veterinary Technician to our Patient Care Team! Schedule: Full - time opportunity. 4 x 10 hour shifts with rotating Saturdays. Compensation: $ 20 - 26/ hr and t he starting range for technicians is determined by license, skill set, and years of experience in the field. Responsibilities

Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and post-op recovery
Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs
Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the DVM
Collect samples and perform in-house laboratory diagnostics
Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments
Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care
Maintain accurate patient medical records
