Requirements

Certification or degree in Veterinary Technology from an accredited program.
Experience in veterinary practice preferred but not required.
Strong knowledge of veterinary critical care and laboratory procedures.
Excellent animal handling skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and pet owners.

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
Perform laboratory tests and analyze samples for accurate diagnosis.
Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by veterinarians.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
Handle and restrain animals safely during examinations and procedures.
Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
Ensure a clean and organized work environment by following aseptic techniques.
