About The Position

We are currently looking to hire a full-time Experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team at Santa Cruz Animal Clinic in Brandon, Florida! Who You Are: 2 + years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary technician or assistant required Passion for working with animals and their owners Experience with proper animal handling and restraint Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills Confident in running rooms and seeing sick and well appointments alongside a veterinarian Skilled in phlebotomy and IV catheter placement Laboratory skills including cytology set-up and interpretation Preferred, but not required: Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) in Florida Prior experience cross-trained as a CSR Bilingual in Spanish Anesthesia monitoring and surgical experience including intubation, monitoring, pre-operative and post-operative care Dental Experience, scaling, polishing, charting, radiographs What Makes Us Different Referral program – join our team, bring your friends, and get paid! Requirements

  • 2 + years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary technician or assistant required
