Requirements

Prior veterinary technician experience (required)
Confidence in technical skills (venipuncture, catheters, anesthesia monitoring, etc.)

Responsibilities

Assisting veterinarians during exams, treatments, procedures, and surgeries
Administering medications and providing nursing care, and treatments
Performing venipuncture/blood draws, IV catheter placement, and lab sample prep
Conducting dental cleanings and supporting dental procedures
Monitoring anesthesia and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures
Taking radiographs and running in-house lab tests
