We are currently looking to hire a full time Veterinary Technician to join our team at Animal Doctors of South Tampa in Tampa, Florida. $500 Sign-On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates! We are seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. Our clinic is fast-paced pace but we make it a point to keep the environment as low-stress as possible. We focus on excellent patient care and client interaction with high-quality veterinary care. We strive to help our team members find a balance between life and work. Who You Are: We are seeking a skilled and experienced candidate able to perform a high level of veterinary tasks. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of client education, high levels of animal care, be able to place IV caths, proficient in blood draws, know how to run in house labs, assist with x-rays, monitor hospitalized patients, give SQ fluids, load rooms, take history, do initial work ups, and assist the other team members in daily tasks. They will know how to keep an exam room clean and stocked, be able to multi-task efficiently and effectively, and be able to manage their time appropriately. Requirements

• Able to work rotating Saturdays
• Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant.
• Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

• Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.
