About The Position

We are currently looking to hire a Veterinary Technician to join our team at Dade City Animal Clinic in Dade City, Florida. Our busy, 3-doctor practice sees a variety of pets providing preventative and urgent care services. Location: 13117 US-301, Dade City, FL 33525 Schedule: 4 weekday shifts; (Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 5 pm). Must be available to work half day every other Saturday. Who We Are: Dade City Animal Clinic is a general practice veterinary clinic in Dade City, FL. We are proud to provide high quality medical care in our beautiful, well-equipped facility. If you’re interested in working with a variety of species, you’ve found the right place! Dade City treats large and exotic animals in addition to cats and dogs. Who You Are: 2+ years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary technician or assistant Knowledge of industry tools and equipment Passion for working with small animals, birds, exotics, and their owners Experience with proper animal handling and restraint for a variety of species Ability to perform nursing care in a hospital or outdoor setting Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills What Makes Us Different Referral program – join our team, bring your friends, and get paid! Requirements

2+ years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary technician or assistant
Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
Passion for working with small animals, birds, exotics, and their owners
Experience with proper animal handling and restraint for a variety of species
Ability to perform nursing care in a hospital or outdoor setting
Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
