About The Position

North Carrollton Veterinary Hospital is growing and looking for a dedicated individual to join our amazing team as a veterinary technician! We’re a well-established, 3–4 doctor practice that values the unique talents, personalities, and perspectives each team member brings. Nice To Haves

A veterinary license is welcome but not required.
Experience in a clinic, whether in the kennel, at the front desk, or assisting in a medical role—is a bonus

Responsibilities

Take vitals, temperatures, and collect samples as requested
Prepare and draw up vaccines, medications, and preventatives
Assist with restraint and handling in a low-stress, safe manner
Complete diagnostics and treatments as directed by the doctor
Anticipate the needs of the doctor during exams and procedures
Accurately document medical history, treatment plans, and doctor notes
Review treatment plans with clients and obtain consent
Educate clients on home care, medications, and general pet wellness
Clean and restock exam rooms between appointments following OSHA standards
Understand and help prevent the spread of infectious/zoonotic diseases
Assist with inventory, restocking, and maintaining daily organization
Ensure accurate record-keeping and communication notes in patient files
