Veterinary Technician - Andrews Veterinary Clinic! Come join our amazing team! Andrews, Texas Description: We are currently seeking a Veterinary Technician! If you enjoy working with animals and are committed to providing excellent customer service, come join our team! Our practice is a mixed animal hospital offering medicine and surgery services to both large and small animals. We are seeking a candidate who can multitask, has the desire to learn, and can work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred candidates will be organized and enthusiastic. Who We're Looking For: We are a high-volume, fast-paced veterinary clinic. Our technicians assist with monitoring hospitalized pets, maintaining inventory, preparing prescriptions, performing routine, in-house lab work, educating clients regarding veterinary care and procedures, and assisting with surgical procedures. The Technician assists veterinarians to the fullest possible extent, allowing them to achieve greater efficiency by relieving them of technical and administrative work. The technician Cleans and straightens exam rooms, treatment areas, and lab areas. Assists other staff members in keeping the public areas of the practice clean and well-maintained. Restocks exam rooms with supplies as needed as well as cleaning and maintains all medical equipment as required. The veterinary industry is constantly changing and advancing.
