VCA St. Clair Shores Animal Hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our expanding and dedicated team! Schedule: Full-time, with flexible scheduling available and rotating Saturdays. Compensation: $ 20 - 27/hr and pay is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field. Requirements

Licensed Veterinary Technician
Whether you are a seasoned Veterinary Technician or recent veterinary technician graduate, we want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in.

Responsibilities

Collecting patient histories and performing physical exams.
IVC placement and venipuncture
Surgery Prep, monitoring anesthesia and postoperative care of the patient (recovery)
Dentals and dental radiographs
Maintain patient records
Client education and communication
Perform and assist with diagnostic imaging, laboratory tests, and other diagnostic procedures.
Administer medications, vaccinations, and other prescribed treatments.
Collaborate with veterinarians, fellow veterinary technicians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
