About The Position

Pet Partners Animal Clinic is Hiring a Veterinary Technician! Pet Partners Animal Clinic is growing and we are looking for a veterinary technician or experienced assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for caring for pets and the people who love them. We are a busy small animal practice located in Sussex, WI. As a veterinary technician or experienced vet assistant (at least 2 years) you already know the skills and passion it takes to have a successful career in veterinary medicine. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
• Experience in monitoring anesthesia
• Perioperative care - including IV catheter placement
• Obtaining diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy, and sample collection, and performing in-house lab work
• Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff
• Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions
