Environment of Collaboration: Our VECCS Level 1 Certified Hospital includes specialists in Emergency & Critical Care, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Diagnostic Imaging, Oncology, Surgery and Exotics and a full staff of experienced Emergency and Primary Care Veterinarians. With the support of their technicians, assistants, and liaisons the hospital teams work closely together to deliver the highest quality of care. About You: We believe veterinary medicine is truly a team sport, and we’re seeking a candidate who shares that mindset. The ideal candidate is confident in their technical skills across all aspects of practice, including anesthesia and anesthetic monitoring, venipuncture, dental cleanings, drug calculations and protocols, surgery, and client education. This role also requires strong communication skills—both with team members and clients—so you can confidently educate pet owners about their pets’ care and procedures. Experience with CPR, EzyVet, and SmartFlow is a plus, but not required. Anticipated schedule: Full-Time / Part-Time / and Per Diem positions available! Compensation: Depending on experience, starting at $19.50-$30.00 an hour. Requirements

  • 1-3 years Veterinary Technician experience.
  • Knowledge of Anesthesia and monitoring.
  • Phlebotomy
  • Knowledge of the procedures used for scheduling patients, receiving, treating, and requesting laboratory tests.
  • Knowledge of the use, care, and storage of veterinary instruments, materials, and equipment.
  • Knowledge of the instruments, materials, and standardized procedures used in the full variety of treatments to prepare and provide “tableside” assistance.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing client and personal services. This includes client needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of client satisfaction.
  • Desire to help teach/mentor others (pay it forward)
  • Must be 18 years or older to apply.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates in Veterinary Technology is a plus.
  • CVT license is a plus.
  • Experience with CPR, EzyVet, and SmartFlow is a plus, but not required.
