Requirements

1+ years of Experience in the Veterinary industry
High school diploma, GED certificate (But not required)
Availability to work minimum of 34-40 hours weekly, weekends, and holidays
Withstand unpleasant odors and noises
Be a reliable, positive, and professional self-starter who demonstrates strong work ethic, excellent communication, initiative, teamwork, and a willingness to learn.
Must be comfortable carrying, restraining animals of all sizes, lifting up to 50lbs and walking or standing for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional patient and client care, educating clients on services and best practices.
Assist Veterinarians with appointments, surgery, dentistry, and procedures.
Evaluate pets, perform treatments (IVs, blood draws, labs, radiographs), and update doctors on current condition or owner concerns.
Admit, discharge, medicate, walk, feed, and care for patients; safely restrain animals.
Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked hospital, stay current on drugs and their proper use, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
