About The Position

We are seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician or an experienced veterinary assistant to join our team and help ensure we are providing those great experiences. Requirements

• Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state
• Associates degree in Veterinary Technology
• Experience as a Veterinary Assistant

Responsibilities

• Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms
• Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology and blood chemistry
• Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members
• Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring
