About The Position

VCA Blackstone Valley Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician Supervisor to help oversee clinic operations and lead our team of Veterinary Technicians, & Veterinary Assistants. We are a 4-doctor full service veterinary hospital offering primary care, illness care, surgery and dentistry located in Uxbridge, MA. As Veterinary Technician Supervisor, your responsibilities will include directing work flow on the floor, cultivating an engaging work environment, and maintaining our strong hospital culture. You will work cohesively with hospital management and supervisory teams to aid in the progression of the hospital, help with the interview process for potential new hires, onboard all new associates, assist in the educational development of technicians, conduct staff meetings, provide opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience, mentor technicians, resolve conflicts, refine and implement protocols, and ensure that VCA policies are followed by all technical staff.

Requirements

  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician - CVT, LVT, RVT, LVMT (FL CVT Preferred)
  • 5+ years of clinical experience
  • Team leadership experience
  • Passion for Veterinary Medicine
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
