Requirements

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in Maryland – preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience as an RVT or 5 years as a technician in a specialty practice
Minimum 5 years of experience monitoring anesthesia in a specialty setting

Responsibilities

Supervise, coach, and support the surgical technical team.
Manage staff, workflows, and complex specialty hospital operations.
Provide clear communication, timely instruction, and consistent expectations.
Maintain workflow by monitoring processes, identifying variables, and facilitating timely corrections.
Lead through meticulous planning, monitoring, appraising, and problem-solving.
Handle employee coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions as needed.
Initiate, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures that maintain efficiency and quality.
