We are seeking a skilled, motivated Veterinary Technician Supervisor (LVT or CVT preferred) to lead our technician team, support hospital operations, and help drive excellence in patient care. The Veterinary Technician Supervisor oversees daily technical staff operations, ensures high-quality medical care, promotes teamwork, and supports doctors and hospital leadership. This role combines hands-on clinical work with leadership, training, and workflow management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–4 years of veterinary technician experience required
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid technical skills in anesthesia, radiology, dentistry, and patient care
  • Passion for mentorship, team development, and high-quality medicine

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory or lead tech experience preferred
  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of veterinary technicians and assistants
  • Coordinate daily staffing, scheduling, and workflow
  • Assist in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations
  • Maintain high standards of patient care and safety
  • Provide advanced technical support: anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and emergency care
  • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and industry standards
  • Maintain inventory and oversee equipment maintenance
  • Communicate clearly with doctors, staff, and clients
  • Address team concerns, promote positive culture, and support continuous improvement
