VCA Village Park Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician Supervisor! Location: 51230 Eisenhower Dr, La Quinta, CA 92253 Schedule: Monday - Friday, Full-Time Salary: $ 31 - 33 / hour, dependent on education, experience, credentials, location, nature of practice, schedule, and additional responsibilities. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to: Supervisory duties: Team training, development and support Implementing department policies and procedure Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs Record keeping Marketing Facility maintenance Veterinary Technician Skills: Physical examinations and patient assessment Anesthesia monitoring / Surgical preparation and assisting / Patient recovery Dentistry Radiology Laboratory work Venipuncture / Catheter placement Pharmacy Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals Diagnostic Imaging Client education and communication Plus so much more!
