About the job: We are seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician Supervisor to lead our Internal Medicine team. This position is ideal for a credentialed technician looking to take a leap forward in their career, loves to teach and has a passion for furthering their skills.

  • Supervise and mentor a team of veterinary technicians within the Internal Medicine service.
  • Oversee daily workflow, ensuring high-quality patient care and client communication.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and other departments to maintain efficient operations.
  • Assist with advanced diagnostics and treatments, including endoscopy, ultrasound, and complex case management.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
  • Create staff schedule, approve timecards and time off requests
  • Oversee employee reviews, candidate interviews, conflict resolution
  • Current veterinary technician license (required).
  • 5+ years of experience as a credentialed veterinary technician preferred
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in anesthesia and sedation
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Prior experience in Internal Medicine a plus
