The ideal candidate will be excellent at training and mentoring. They will have advanced veterinary skills. We are looking for someone with excellent communication, time management and organizational skills. Pay: $26.00 - $40.00 / hour This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.
  • Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations.
  • Works with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.
  • Organize training schedules for Technician staff.
  • Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution.
  • Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
