About The Position

Castro Animal Hospital is hiring a Registered Veterinary Technician! We’re seeking Registered Veterinary Technicians who share a passion for animal health, a commitment to deliver excellent client care, and a drive to grow within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of veterinary clinical experience
• Strong technical ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Growth mindset

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent client communication and education
• Perform dog and cat restraint
• Place IV catheters and perform venipuncture (jugular, cephalic, saphenous)
• Run in-house IDEXX lab work
• Conduct radiography
• Administer medication (all routes)
• Monitor anesthesia
