About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring an exceptional Radiology Veterinary Technician. This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system. As a Radiology Technician you will perform advance diagnostic testing, such as x-rays, computed tomography (CT), nuclear imaging, digital fluoroscopy, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for ultrasound.
Safely restrain patients for procedures.
Place intravenous catheters in all peripheral veins.
Perform phlebotomy.
Prepare slides for cytology.
Proficiently perform digital radiographs.
Monitor patients during anesthesia or while sedated.
Perform advanced imaging such as CT scans and MRI procedures.
Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
Have patience and empathy to address client concerns.
