About The Position

Wauwatosa Veterinary Clinic is Hiring a Veterinary Assistant of Licensed Technician! Are you an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Certified Veterinary Technician who would like to expand your technical skills and further your career? We are looking for a hard-working candidate with a passion for animals and the drive to excel in a hospital committed to high quality veterinary care and client service. We are looking for someone who has previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant or a Certified Veterinary Technician, who loves to learn and has a positive, caring personality. We will train the right candidate to help develop their technical skills and can even help prepare them to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. This position includes the following duties -- assisting doctors in appointments, client education, venipuncture, processing lab work, filling pharmacy prescriptions and radiography. In addition to our conventional veterinary services, we also offer Diagnostic Ultrasound, Echocardiograms, Acupuncture, Acupressure, Physical Rehabilitation, Therapeutic Laser and Massage.
