Veterinary Technician or Assistant Anesthesia - Angell West 10K sign on bonus
About The Position
This is a full time 40 hour a week position; 4 ten hour days, weekdays, some holiday coverage required. A satellite hospital of Angell Animal Medical Center, Angell West is a non-profit animal hospital and we are part of the MSPCA, one of the oldest and most respected humane organizations in the country. Qualified applicants should excel in interpersonal communication skills and must be reliable, independent, and able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude. We are looking for a technician or assistant who has a passion for veterinary surgery and anesthesia. The Anesthesia Technician must have a strong technical background and knowledge of veterinary medicine and recognize the importance of conveying this knowledge and expertise to others. A qualified candidate must be willing to take an active role in the continuing education and training of other staff. We guarantee additional pay for over time and on-call. We provide a teaching environment for new graduates, CVT’s and VTS candidates. We offer a stipend for national/international conferences for our Certified Vet Technicians.
