Veterinary Technician - Lead
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced RVT to join our Overnight Team at VCA Orange County Veterinary Specialists in a Shift Lead Position. Schedule : F our 10 hour shifts, 8:00pm to 6:30am or 5:00pm-3:30am Compensation : $ 28 - $ 35 / hr We may be part of a big company but we are a close-knit work family. This will include at least one weekend day (unless you are a glittery unicorn that really really wants to work Saturdays AND Sundays, which we would be happy to accommodate). Responsibilities
- Maintaining medical records.
- Preparing for and performing procedures and treatments.
- Preparing medications and prescriptions.
- Communicating in person and on the phone with clients.
- Organizing Care by all Team Members and providing leadership and support.
- Assisting in procedures.
- Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for hospitalized pets.
- Assisting in other areas of the hospital, as needed.
