A Day in the Life: The Shelter Surgery Veterinary Technician will be responsible for assisting veterinarians in all aspects of AHS' Spay/Neuter initiatives including surgery, laboratory diagnostics, fluid therapy, emergency care as necessary, and the administration of prescribed medications. As a Shelter Surgery Veterinary Technician you will assist in surgery prep, induction, monitoring, and recovering as needed and work with veterinarians and other departments to ensure optimal animal care and flow.
