About The Position

The position involves conducting daily rounds and monitoring the health of research rodents. Responsibilities include documenting and communicating findings about rodent health, collecting biological samples, and administering treatments under the supervision of veterinary staff. The role requires performing weekend rounds to triage health issues in multiple species and conducting work according to departmental SOPs, IACUC policies, and Public Health Service regulations. Rotational work on weekends and holidays is required.
