About The Position

VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center is looking to add an RVT to our ER/ICU team! Location: 7712 Crosspoint Commons, Fishers, IN 46038 Schedule: FT late swing and overnight Compensation: $ 21 - $ 34 / hr The starting range for technicians is determined by license, skill set, and years of experience in the field. Responsibilities

Patient triage
Patient treatments as prescribed
Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and post-op recovery
Administer medications and treatments as directed by the DVM
Collect samples and perform in-house laboratory diagnostics
Prepare patients and exam rooms for exams
Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care
Maintain accurate patient medical records
