Requirements
- Solid mathematical skill and the ability to calculate CRI and medication dosages are a must
Responsibilities
- Monitor and perform treatments for patients requiring intensive management, recognize significant changes in the patient’s condition, and notify the Doctor
- Experienced with venipuncture and IV catheter placement on critical patients
- Anesthetic induction and monitoring of sensitive and critically ill patients
- Experience with specialized equipment care and use, and a willingness to learn new skills
- Strong experience with care of urinary catheters, central lines, and nasal gastric tubes
- Ability to run in-house lab samples and handle submissions to outside laboratories as needed
- Must be detailed oriented with the ability to bring attention to discrepancies in patient care and treatments
- Must be able to work productively with minimal supervision
