VCA Buckhead Animal Hospital in Atlanta, GA is seeking a talented Veterinary Technician to join the team at our AAHA-accredited 4-doctor practice! Requirements

• Credentialed veterinary technician (RVT, CVT, LVT, LVMT) or technician in training.
• Ability to utilize skills and knowledge in a veterinary setting.

Responsibilities

• Support our team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.
• Conduct physical examinations and patient assessments.
• Monitor anesthesia during procedures.
• Prepare for and assist in surgical procedures.
• Perform dental cleanings and procedures.
• Conduct radiology and laboratory work.
• Perform venipuncture and catheter placement.
• Manage pharmacy tasks.
• Assist in patient recovery.
• Maintain medical recordkeeping.
• Provide compassionate patient care.
• Educate clients on pet care.
