Veterinary Technician/Assistant

Jacksonville Community Pet Clinic is looking for an experienced veterinary technician or assistant to join our dedicated team. Requirements
- Prior experience in a clinical veterinary setting (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
- Comfortable with both the technical and client-facing aspects of the role
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to stay organized and calm in a fast-paced environment
- Available for evening shifts and rotating Saturdays
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures, dental cleanings, radiology, and patient treatments
- Perform technical skills such as venipuncture, catheter placement, lab testing, and monitoring anesthesia
- Communicate with clients about patient care, treatment plans, and home care instructions
- Support efficient workflow and accurate recordkeeping
- Work closely with veterinarians and fellow staff to provide high-quality care
