Requirements

  • Veterinary assistant with at least 1–2 years of experience in small animal practice
  • Proficient knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal handling, and basic medical workflows
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills in a fast-paced clinic environment
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning software like ezyVet or Smartflow

Responsibilities

  • Safely handle and restrain patients with minimal stress during exams and treatments
  • Assist in diagnostics: lab sample collection, radiographs, record vitals, perform basic lab work (PCV/TP, urinalysis, etc.)
  • Support the team during routine procedures including anesthetic induction/recovery and client prep
  • Maintain tidy, organized treatment rooms, exam rooms, and supply areas
  • Help communicate with clients and provide supportive guidance throughout their visit
