About The Position

Southern Rockies Animal Emergency & Specialty Hospital (SRAESH) in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado, is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained veterinary surgeon to join our fast-paced and highly collaborative team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a ready-to-go surgical caseload built by our exceptionally busy, 24/7 emergency department. With no competing specialties on-site and a committed referral base already in place, this role is ideal for a surgeon eager to make an immediate and meaningful impact.

Requirements

• Residency-trained or board-certified veterinary surgeon (ACVS or equivalent).
• Comfortable with a mix of soft tissue and orthopedic cases.
• Team-first attitude and enthusiasm for supporting ER and future specialty colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures on a variety of cases, including soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries.
• Build and shape the surgery service within a growing hospital.
• Collaborate with emergency room doctors and other specialty colleagues.
• Participate in mentorship and training of staff as needed.
