About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a dedicated Sterile Supply Assistant to join our Surgery team! Do you have a passion for animals? We are seeking a Sterile Supply Assistant with a self-motivated, positive attitude to add to our surgical team. This person should be organized and focused on maintaining high-quality instruments and patient care through sterile preparation. Our hospitals are located throughout the country, most of which are open 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Responsibilities

• Prepare instruments and operating room for surgery.
• Troubleshooting and removing faulty equipment from service to submit for repair or replacement.
• Maintaining appropriate quantities of surgical supplies and equipment.
• Decontaminating and cleaning operating rooms, sterile supply room, and equipment according to established procedures.
• Cleaning and sterilizing instruments and wrapping packs
• Serving as a resource/reference to surgical team with regards to surgical equipment.
