About The Position

The Veterinary Services Manager for Poultry at Ceva Animal Health will be accountable for technical product support, engaging Territory Managers and Ceva customers to create value and influence. This role emphasizes respiratory diseases, intestinal health, and coccidiosis control. The manager will act as the expert on technical matters of Ceva's product range, responding to product-related questions and issues, guiding and supporting customers and Ceva's TM to successful outcomes, while creating and maintaining a solid network with professionals and key stakeholders in the industry. The position requires continuous monitoring of Ceva commercial products and circulating diseases, spending the majority of effort in the field solving customer issues and problems.

Requirements

  • DVM or associated degree with post graduate training in poultry diseases, nutrition, and management.
  • Board certification in ACPV preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in the poultry industry with demonstrated industry leadership preferred.
  • Recognized experience working with the industry on intestinal health with emphasis on coccidiosis control.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure product leadership by creating a high internal and external level of confidence on the Ceva products utilized for preventive veterinary medicine.
  • Implement the local customer plan based on the national strategy and guidelines.
  • Act as the first Ceva contact in the field, implementing effective market support, follow-up of product deployment, and generating evidence on product success.
  • Review and update the plan of every customer during monthly meetings with teams and managers.
  • Collaborate on the conception of technical articles.
  • Focus on continuous improvement with customers' needs and relationships by organizing regular visits, events, or calls.
  • Provide customer guidance, advisory, and troubleshooting by ensuring immediate impactful and actionable visits.
  • Organize quarterly/semester/yearly 'pulse' meetings to review and direct accordingly the needs of the customer.
  • Provide technical and scientific advice to customers' key support staff and Ceva technical and sales personnel.
  • Attend continuous trainings delivered by corporate, congress, seminars, and events focused on preventive veterinary medicine, disease, and Ceva products.
  • Self-train on new technical updates to maintain a high level of expertise and share knowledge with the veterinary services team.
  • Collect and report on customer's feedback, ensuring valuable monitoring of the products.
  • Maintain networks with animal health institutes, labs, universities, KOLs, suppliers of equipment.
